A friend of mine offered me this book as it was written by her Aunt. This book is a Marathi book which is translated in English by Dr. Suvarna Baljekar. A book of 12 short stories. I can't thank my friend enough for handing me this rare jewel which can easily be nominated as a modern day classic book. All the stories are very different from each other and the unexpected ending is the USP of the book. I could remember Satyajit Ray and Rabrindanath Tagore stories while completing each of them. The book portrays emotional journey of various characters in different stories. Highlights of the book are the feelings of loneliness, dejection, rejection and about Karma. Narratives are believable. All the stories are very much relatable to current day scenarios. All the stories stay with you for a long time after you've read them. That is the beauty of this book. Whatsapp and First Love

We all had our crushes in school, if not all, most of them had. Out of that around 98% of them remain just the memories and only the fortunate 2% or maybe 1% get to marry their first love. Fact remains that many of the stories remain as distant memory of the attraction. I just came across this rather cute story of infatuation at the age of adolescence. Yes, it couldn't be completed but still completed. And the credit of the success goes to our very own WhatsApp and the group created where we meet and chat. Let's get started with the story. In the Name of God - Ravi Subramanian

One of my favourite author Ravi Subramanian's book released and it's impossible for me to not to grab a copy. I won't deny that before picking up the books authored by him I expect them to give me some nail biting moments, curiousity on what happens next and shock on finding the actual culprit. Also the best part about his books are the chapters are short, they don’t drag at a single point and are at a breath-taking pace. They immediately grab your attention and the unravelling of mystery keeps you glued throughout the book. The book ‘In the name of God’ as everybody knows has the back-drop of Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple at Thiruvananthapuram. The history of how the temple got its name makes for an interesting read and gives us an insight of the tremendous research that Ravi Subramanian has done.
